Day 1 – Kite Surfing in Kalpitiya

You will be met & assisted upon arrival at the International Airport. Travel to Kalpitiya and learn how to  Kite Surf like a pro!

Day 2 – Dambulla Cave Temple and the Sigiriya Rock Fortress

Travel to Dambulla and explore the cave temple. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka and is adorned with paintings and sculptures.

Climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress in the afternoon to view the sunset from the top. The ruins of a palace built on top of a rock, this UNESCO World Heritage Site has a beautiful view from the top, a highly polished mirror wall, palace gardens and frescoes. While visiting, learn the story of Prince Kassapa and how the palace came to be.

Day 3 – Hot Air Ballooning and a hike in Ritigala

Go on a Hot Air Balloon ride early morning and get an aerial view of the Cultural Triangle. Hike up Ritigala, a strict natural reserve with ruins of a monastery at the top afterwards.

Day 4 – Kandy city and Rafting in Kitulgala

Travel to Kitulgala via Kandy. Visit the ‘Dalada Maligawa’, a temple that holds the sacred tooth relic of Buddha in Kandy.

In Kithulgala, experience white water rafting on the Kelani River with class 3 rapids. You could also venture out on a kayak or canoe or even try abseiling and canyoning.

Day 5 – Trekking in Horton Plains

Leave early morning to the Horton Plains National Park. Trek along the grassy plains and you may see a wide variety of birds as well as sambur, deer, bears, monkeys and if you’re lucky, even leopards!

Continue to Ella afterwards and relax.

Day 6 – Little Adam’s Peak, Nine Arch Bridge and Ravana Falls

Have breakfast and take a nice short hike up Little Adam’s Peak and check out the breathtaking views from the top. Visit the Demodara Nine Arch Bridge and the Ravana Ella waterfall before travelling to Yala.

Day 7 – Yala Safari and Beach!

Go on a morning safari at Yala National Park. Yala has the world’s highest concentration of Leopards. There are also Asian Elephants, Sloth Bears, Crocodiles, Wild Boar, Water Buffalos and deer amongst other large animals.

After the morning safari, proceed to Galle and relax on the beach.

Day 8 – Whale Watching and the Galle Fort

Travel to Mirissa early morning to experience a Whale and Dolphin Watching expedition. Sri Lanka is one of the best places in the world to see blue whales in their natural habitat.

Wander around the historic Galle Fort after lunch and enjoy the heavily Dutch Influenced Architecture. The Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site was originally built by the Portuguese and later extended by the Dutch when the country was under their rule.

Day 9 – Para-motoring and Colombo City

On the way to Colombo experience a Paramotoring adventure in Bentota. Once in Colombo, go on a City tour to see the 100 year old clock tower, elegant historical buildings, the Pettah Bazaar, Buddhist temples and enjoy some shopping as well.

Day 10 – Colombo – CMB (Airport)

Transfer to the Airport to catch your flight home.
