Day 1 – Meet your bike!

On your arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, transfer to a five star hotel by the beautiful Indian Ocean for lunch.  It is here that you will meet your holiday companion – your Royal Enfield motorcycle – stylish and beautiful – excited and ready to take you on an indelible ride.  A quick briefing and hop on!  All astride for Kalpitiya, a beach destination sitting elegantly on the west coast, renowned for dolphins, kitesurfing, snorkelling and delectable seafood.

Day 2 – Relax, Dive, Surf!

It’s a beautiful day, ideal to do what you like as we tailor make it to your preferences.  There’s nothing like the beach to make relaxation the norm.  Or maybe you’d like to spot a whale or watch a pod of dolphins dance just for you.   For a few hours of adventure, don some snorkeling gear and marvel at the amazing underwater vista unfold at Bar Reef or feel the wind beneath your wings while kitesurfing.

Day 3 – Culture Fix!

Time for a dose of culture in your holiday! Visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the cave temple in Dambulla. Hop on that bike from Kalpitiya and enjoy unique landscape along the route.  After staring in wonderment at the handpainted caves with multiple sculptures, check into the exotic resort we have for you, ready to relax in its luxurious surroundings or explore more of this historic city.

Meet your Royal Enfield

The hills are alive!

Day 4 – The Story of a Lion!

Marvel at the monolithic red rock rising from jungle, a haven for an eccentric king whose stamp remains unerasable in the country’s history.  Climb this UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, housing vestiges of a palace and all its ostentatious trimmings, imbuing the architectural and creative prowess of centuries past.

Day 5 – The Hills are Alive!

Time for a change of scenery in your tour and time for a genuin cuppa of Pure Ceylon Tea.  Don a sweater if you must as your bike takes you through winding hills and deep valleys, covered in mist and cooler climes, surrounded by carpeted mountains of tea bushes and lush forests.  You are en route to Nuwara Eliya, the playground of British colonialists in an era past, encircled in picturebook scenery and dotted with cascading waterfalls that beckons you for a quick dip in a natural pool.

Day 6 – A Cuppa of Joy!

Pure Ceylon Tea is legendary.  Your bike takes you through unending estates of lush green tea where you will see how the hand-plucked two leaves and bud, ultimately ends up as that delicious morning cuppa.  Watch the colourfully clad women precariously perched on mountain edges pick the leaves and deftly throw them over their heads into a basket on their back.  This is how the world’s finest hand-crafted tea is made and that cup of tea you you will enjoy after that morning exploration, is surely a labour of love.

Day 7 – Of Kings & Kingdoms

The ride from Nuwara Eliya to the last kingdom of Kandy is a scenic one.  Even more so, because the Kandian Kingdom is today better renowned for housing probably one of Asia’s most revered relics, the Buddha’s tooth.  Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and enjoy the unique architecture and resplendent ceremonial and cultural festivities that remain at the heart of this historic city.

Day 8 – The Buzz of the City

Tailor make your day in the city of Kandy, moving around with the people as they live and work in this heaving city, steeped in the sights and sounds of everyday life.

Day 9 – A Date with Majesty

This is your last day of riding and you await in anticipation, during your ride from Kandy to Negombo, for your date with the largest mammal on earth, the majestic and gentle pachyderm at the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela.  This welcome distraction along your bike route allows you to watch the largest herd of captive orphaned elephants in the world feed and bathe at the river.  You can even indulge your date by feeding it some bananas.

Thumbs up for the terrain!

Day 10 – Life’s a Beach!

Wide palm fringed beaches with its golden sands edged by the azure sea is surely the best way to soak some sun.  Spend your last day in Sri Lanka relaxing in the exotic tropical milieu of Negombo.

Day 11 – Memories for Home

Pack up your precious memories in your kit bag as you prepare for home.  You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport in time for your return flight.
