Day 1 – The Dambulla Cave Temple
You will be met & assisted upon arrival at the Airport and will proceed to travel to Dambulla to visit the Cave Temple. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka and is adorned with paintings and sculptures. Relax and enjoy the luxurious hotel afterwards.
Day 2 – Hot Air Ballooning and The Sigiriya Rock Fortress
Catch a spectacular view of the Sunrise by going on a romantic hot air balloon ride early morning and enjoy the colourful sunset from the top of Sigiriya Rock in the afternoon. The Sigiriya Rock Fortress too is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 3 – The Temple of the Tooth Relic
Travel to Kandy and check out ‘Dalada Maligawa’, the Temple that houses the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha and explore this small lakeside town cradled among the misty hills. You could end the day with a relaxing couples massage at the Spa.

Day 4 – Picnic at the Royal Botanical Garden
Take along a packed lunch and enjoy a cozy picnic at the beautiful Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya and soak in some rich and vibrant Sri Lankan culture and tradition by watching a cultural show in the evening that features traditional music, drumming and dancing.
Day 5 – Ceylon Tea in the hill country
Travel by Train through the Hill Country, one of the most scenic train rides in the world! There are lovely views of waterfalls and tea estates along the way.
Once you reach Nuwara Eliya, visit a tea estate and factory and enjoy a typical Old English High Tea in the afternoon.
Day 6 – Exchange your vows at the Divurumpola Temple
Travel from Nuwara Eliya to Yala and visit the Divurumpola Temple on the way. This is a place significant to the Indian Ramanaya Epic where lovers exchange their vows. Divurumpola means “the place of making a vow”. Today the temple is revered for the oath taken by Sitadevi.
Day 7 – Yala Safari
Go on an early morning and an afternoon safari at the Yala National Park and enjoy a romantic candle lit dinner in the wilderness before camping under the stars…
Day 8 – Wander around the Galle Fort
Travel from yala to Galle and check out the Stilt fishermen on the way. Once in Galle explore the city and wander around the historic Galle Fort. Enjoy a workshop on carving your own traditional Sri Lankan masks together in the afternoon.
Day 9 – Beach time
There’s no better way to end your romantic and adventurous honeymoon than by spending the day at Unawatuna Beach with its turquoise blue water and clean white sand.
Day 10 – Colombo – CMB (Airport)
Transfer to the Airport to catch your flight home.
